As wonderful as I'm sure this is, life's too short for me to carry on every few years trying to read this. I'm give up and bookcross it :)

Oh my goodness, I feel very guilty for accepting this very kind random act of kindness now after reading the initial book owners journal entry. You see, I too have tried to read the sucker many times. My sister is a huge Tolkein fan and growing up I tried to share her zeal for the author. I promise to read this book this time, I can't promise to enjoy it though :) Thankyou so much for sending it my way and forcing my hand so to speak.
