From back cover:

When Keith and Maggie Hunter brought their family to the isolated mountain cottage for the summer, they were looking forward to weeks of peace and serenity and a chance to restore their crumbling marriage. But what started out as a vacation in paradise soon became a vacation in hell.

The Hunters woke up one morning to find their cabin surrounded by scores of unearthly creatures. Their razor-sharp talons could tear into flesh like it was paper, but they didn't stop at physical violence. They could violate the minds of the Hunters and their children, unearthing their deepest secrets and darkest fears. Keith Hunter realized with growing terror that even if he could protect his wife and children from the creatures, he could not protect them from each other. They were trapped in the cabin like fireflies in a jar, and the only escape from their torment was death...

Well, I made it through the first 150 or so pages, and by then, was kind of bored with the book. The story was interesting, but the writing left much to be desired. I skimmed through the rest to see what happened. This would actually make a good Sci-Fi Pictures original. Like I said, the story was pretty good, I just wasn't captured by the writing itself. I will be releasing this on Halloween!
