I read this in one day. It was good, not as good as The DaVinci Code in my opinion, but that's probably because I knew what twists to expect. I thought it was very similar to The DaVinci Code, but that was okay for me.

Read this after Da Vinci so I knew the hero survived.
Dan Brown presents another well researched mystery. Well written and gripping.

Caught at York Meet. Rather spooky as I had been talking about this book with a work colleague and she offered me a copy to read, which I declined because of the size of Mt.TBR. Then lo! another copy is set before me. No brainer. Have read Da Vinci Code and some folk say this is better... we shall see. This copy looks as if it has been round the block a few times so I might get the Magic Tape out and repair it a bit!

I think this is another page turner fron Dan Brown. He certainly knows how to hook the reader in. I did find it very much like reading the Da Vinci Code, the formula is very much the same. I'm not tempted to read any more of Brown's books now as the impact has worn off. I am not a great fan of this genre and only read the Da Vinci Code because of all the hype. I liked the race against time in this one, and I do like the character Langdon, but how does he always manage to get involved with these beautiful, brainy women? I've given this a 7 rating as I think I would have really enjoyed it if I'd read it before reading the Da Vinci Code. I'm hoping to pass this to another bookcrosser who has it on their wishlist.

I received the book this week, thanks so much Dorothyredboots. It's one that's been on my wishlist for a while, I hope to get chance to read it soon. I'll journal again when I have read it.
