The classic tale of a legendary inhabitant of the Grand Canyon, the burro Bright Angel, or Brighty. In the winter, Brighty lived along Bright Angel Creek, on the north side of the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon, cadging biscuits from a prospector. As the weather warmed into summer, Brighty would climb up the steep wall of the North Rim of the canyon to reside with Uncle Jim, cougar-hunter for the US Government. Year after year, Brighty's little hooves made a path of his twice-yearly journey. This path is now known as the Bright Angel Trail.
This was one of my favorite books when I was a child, I especially loved the wonderful illustrations by Wesley Dennis.
To be released in some undetermined way.
