This is the first installment of Stephen King's amazing Dark Tower series. This book is brilliant from start to finish. If you haven't read it yet, please do. Even if you are not a fan of King's regular work, you will like this. Trust me.

Gave the book to gwennrael for her to read. She'll give it back a week after so I can send it to nigel-vivian in Malaysia. Hope you enjoy it, gwennrael ! ;-)

Has a well laid plot and full of adventures, fantasy and wonders. But then not everything you wanted to know about Roland's (the gunslinger) quest for the Dark Tower will be answered as you closes this book thus makes you crave for the next one. And that only suits it being the first book in the series. Well, I'm sure not everyone will agree with me but I found this horror/fantasy book somewhat romantic. Merci beaucoup MC!!! =) *Current Status: patiently searching for the 2nd book...*

another of the multitude of books i got from my friend. i got hooked to this one and couldn't wait to finish it and see what would happen. the author drops so many hints that titillate the mind of the things to come. amazing. i'm not much into analyzing the things i read. i'm more of a reader for enjoyment and this one was fun, all the way. dark, yes, but still a great read.
