This is one of the few books I've registered as pc as an indication of books I love. If I get my hands on a second copy, i'll probably register it as available, but this one will remain with me, battered as it is by now--although it might be available as a boomerang if you ask nicely :-)

There are several aspects of the novel I like: it has horror, comics, some cyber-stuff, weird quirky characters and a good gay love-story, sappy in all its gruesomeness. The writing itself isn't particularly brilliant, but I re-read it every now and then for the sheer fun of it--another reason why this copy is labelled pc.
Furthermore, the novel exudes a powerful sensuality. I don't just mean the stuff between the boys, but the description of tastes, colours, textures, smells and music is very vivid and plays a substantial role in the novel. It draws you in and doesn't let you go.
