You'll never eat a McDonalds again.
I read this ages ago, and hoped to have time to do a re-read by now.
Unfortunately, the syndrom known to BCers as "too-many-books, not-enough-time-yet" has crept up on me again.
Thanks to jmpringl for agreeing that I can send it off as a bookring on his behalf. I hope that by the time it returns to me my TBR pile will be non-existent.

A thoroughly absorbing and eye-opening read. I eat very little fast food but after this I'd be very wary of anything I ate if I didn't know exactly where it came from!

I knew this book was going to unravel bad things about the food industry, but it really managed to shock me. The most hideous parts are how the workers are badly treated, ignored and underpaid (for doing thankless jobs). I had a dislike for the big fast-food chains before I read this, but I'm particularly against the big guys now.
Anfield has a copy of the book already awaiting her attention, so I'll pass back to Gooner. Many thanks for sharing the book!

Finished it several weeks ago, sorry for the delay in journalling. Interesting, but disturbing.
This book was handed back to me by KenseyRiver at today's meet-up in Ipswich. I plan to offer it up as an extended bookring on BCUK. Long may it travel!
