Read this one years ago then discovered this copy in a charity shop - just had to rescue in order to release into the wilds somewhere else!
Back cover reads "What do a dead cat, a computer whizz-kid, an Electric Monk who believes the world is pink, quantum mechanics, a Chronologist over 200 years old, Samuel Taylor Coleridge (poet), and pizza have in common?
Apparently not much; until Dirk Gently, self-styled private investigator, sets out to prove the fundamental interconnectedness of all things by solving a mysterious murder, assisting a mysterious professor, unravelling a mysterious mystery, and eating a lot of pizza - not to mention saving the entire human race from extinction along the way (at no extra charge).
To find out more, read this book (better still, buy it then read it) - or contact Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency."
Well, you don't have to read it - just find it where I release it! ;o)

Received this book from fellow Book Crosser Rockratgirl and looking forward to reading before releasing into Wild Leicester, England!
Caught this at tonight's Leeds Bookcrossing Meet. I read this book years ago and fancy reading it again :)
"There is no such word as 'herring' in my dictionary. Good afternoon."
I'd forgotten how good that book was. In fact, I'd forgotten almost everything about it, so was delighted to make its acquaintance once again. I can't believe it's three years this month since Douglas died.

Release planned for Sunday, May 23, 2004 at National Museum of Photography, Film & Television in Bradford, England United Kingdom.
Attending a talk by Douglas Adams' biographer M J Simpson, so will leave this book out during the afternoon. More than likely it'll be on the 'What's On' leaflet stand between the foyer and the Pictureville Bar.

Journal Entry 7 by Mooshoes from Bradford, West Yorkshire United Kingdom on Wednesday, September 13, 2006
Found this book lurking in the library at Shipley Baptist Church. Not entirely sure how it got there, but my curiosity was aroused... I suspect the last journal entry mentioning the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television may be a clue. The plan is to read it, then release it once again. Watch this space.
