Robin Williams has said that if you can remember the 60s you weren't really there. I was there. I do remember. My 60s was NOTHING like this.
This is without a doubt the worst book I have ever attempted to read in my entire life. I stopped at page 55. I wanted to stop at page 31 but wanted to give the book a fair trial. Shapiro cannot write. His characters are not to be believed. People do not talk like that. The whole mind altering drug thing was just stupid.
I will set this book free and I hope it NEVER comes back.

Gave this to a friend who is a very discriminating reader. I wanted someone else to back me up on how really vile this book is. If she agrees we may do a ritual burning so no one else will be exposed to this copy of that awful book.
