_The Diamond Age_ is in my list of Twenty Favorite Books.

Caught at Meetup! Snow Crash was the first Neal Stephenson book that I read, and I had actually been thinking about buying this one when Chad walked in with it. Yes I was probably drooling when I saw it. :-) So I'm really REALLY looking forward to reading it after I finish the book I'm current reading. Which was loaned to me by a coworker, so I'm obligated to finish up instead of just putting it on hold -- because the hold might become permanent and then I'd be in trouble. Morally, at least.

Hey, I really loved this book. He actually uses words I have to look up! I'm passing it on to a friend who has read Cryptonomicon, but not this one. I hope she'll like it.
