Given to me by a friend (so not my choice :)) I'm always influenced by the cover - and this one, with his double cover with fan hiding a girl in her boudoir - immediately reminded me of Miles and Boon (De Boeketreeks in Belgium and the Netherlands) so I was wary of it - history romances aren't my cup of tea anyway...

Even if it's labeled 'The Most Daring Romance Of The Year' I couldn't finish it - sorry... Maybe someone else can have a try...

I could take it on a trip with the Eurostar though, maybe someone likes to while away the time with it...
