Must admit I'm adicted to the Shopaholic series. This book is not from that series but is just as much fun to read. How does Kinsella think up all this stuff? I laughed. I cried. I wondered what could possibly be on those last pages when it seemed like the story was over. I pulled an all nighter reading this and I'm not sorry I did. LOVED IT!!!!

I absolutely LOVED it! Couldn't put it down!

It is about a woman that has all sorts of little secrets. She ends up on a plane that she thinks is going down and shares all these secrets with the stranger sitting next to her. When she gets off the plane she is embarrassed but relieved that she won't be seeing him again. Until he walks into her office and she finds out that he is the founder of the company that she works for...

There were characters in this book I'd love to see more of in a sequel: the deliciously evil Kerry and Nev, wild and crazy Jemima, who deserves her own book, and my favorite, Grandpa, even though he had the bad taste to dislike pineapple and papaya Panther bars.

No wonder I sometimes don't "get" twentysomethings. All the "oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god" stuff got old. Jack and Emma kind of reminded me of romance heroes and heroines in the way they were always acting at cross-purposes and storming off.

Possible spoiler: The Pete Laidler/Marie story line was a real stretch.

I liked this well enough to want to read more of Kinsella's work (Shopaholic! I'll bet she's similar to Jemima!)

Mailed to greenfrog03 today.

Really enjoyed this fast and easy little read. The main charaacter, Emma, cracked me up. I just loved all of the little secrets she spilled - like buying second hand and hating crothet. And her friends and family! I wanted to reach into the book and punch Kerry and toss a gallon of orange paint into Jemima's wardrobe!

The back and forth of the Emma-Jack relationship was a little much, but I still couldn't put to the book down. I stayed up 'til 1am to finish it thinking "Oh my gosh, NOW what?"

I'll be sending this off in the mail to the next person on the book list!

received this yesterday 20/5/05. Finished it this morn. Waiting for ariesgirl to send address and its back to her. :)

I found the book a fast read. Very much a chick-lit, it satisfied my hunger for an easy read. Sometimes I guess I just need something that doesn't bog my head down with too much information. Its like watching a comedy on a monday nite. Only this lasts a lil longer than a 30 minute sitcom. :p Also, it actually made me feel that my day wasn't that bad after all. Emma had it worse!
