I do apologise for forgetting to journal this book on receipt. It's a light amusing read, just right for a journey. Trying to hunt down Samuel Singh, an illegal immigrant, Stephanie finds people mysteriously dying all around her, and soon is entangled in yet another perilous situation. The usual cast of crazy characters is here, including Ranger, Morelli, Lula, Vinnie, Grandma Mazur, Bella, etc. I intend to ray this on BCUK.

Oooh thanks Krys, I am going to save this book for when I need cheering up - but I don't expect I will wait long to read it. I read Hard 8 in one day on Sunday as I love these books.

I finished this book at Lyzzybee's house while she was drying her hair on the way to picking up unconventionites from the station. Hence no journal until now.
I really enjoyed this one - the usual steamy stuff going on between Ranger and Stephanie and Stephanie and Morelli. Also the ususal personal threats on Stephanie. This time though the cars got a break but something else was getting hurt - but I won't say what. I can't wait to get hold of 10 and 11 now.

A nice light read with some good belly laughs. The underlying plot is remarkably like that of Trail of the Dead - but as both books came out at about the same time, and handle the idea differently, it must be chance.

Oh how I LOVED reading this book, it was soooo fantastic.
I laughed so hard reading it in the bath everyone rushed in to check I was OK !!!
I wanted to use yellow highlighter all over the good bits ... like Lula throwing her huge pink thong at Tom Jones .. then finding out it was an impersonator and demanding her thong back ! Having a pack of dogs running after her because she had a handbag full of pork chops ( on her meat diet ) and just more and more and more ...
