I read that this book was supposed to be an "American" version of Bridget Jones. So, being a fan of that series I decided that this was probably a book worth reading. But that wasn't the only reason. It really felt that this was a book that I could relate to and possibly obtain a few different perspectives on things currently happening in my life. The more I read, the more I enjoyed. It is definitely a book that the majority of women readers could relate to. Several different issues are discussed: weight, one's sexuality, single mother's, etc...yet also the fairytale. The infamous cinderella story. I even told my sister about the book and she, too, agreed it was a good read. I highly encourage every woman to read this book, and it might not be bad for some men out there to read it as well.
