Shattered Bone

I was looking for an easy read during my daily commute. Got this one in the bargain bin at Loblaws (a major Canadian grocery chain) as they decided to cut down on their books and magazines section. It seems brocoli sells better than stories.
I'll be back in a while with a more formal review.

A good light read, as I expected. However, much of the story seems to unfold in the very last few chapters. The author often uses some "convenient" tricks so the hero can avoid being caught or killed too early in the book. While the action and the story are quite enticing, I would have appreciated a better finale, for the ending is almost too easy.
Release planned for Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at Place Bonaventure, near the new food court currently under construction in Montreal, Quebec Canada.
The book will be released on one of the "facing seats" of the new food court that is now being built on the 3rd floor of Place Bonaventure. This section is located on the east side of the complex and is not yet fully opened for business. However, many people walk by that very area every day on their way to work.
Let's hope whomever finds this book can enjoy the free read and pass it on to others later!
