Just wasn't my thing. This book seemed to drag on forever without saying a thing. It was one big circle from beginning to end.
I should always avoid books with a lot of published hype, as they never seem to live up to my expectations... That was an understatement in this instance. I couldn't wait to finish this in the hope that something would explain the reviews and commendations.
I intensely disliked many of the characters or despised their flaws. The plot dragged a long barely fleshing out the intracacies of a marginal story line and irritating mannerisms. Too much black and white seemed to be the theme. Stereotypical and blase, and yet even when the plot sped up and you expected action, the author chose to state the action before taking it on, ruining any chance of excitement from the unknown.
The whole book was predictable to the extreme. It was like a how to speech...Introduction, state your points and topics, cover your points and topics, reiterate the points and topic in the conclusion. BLAH!

Thank you so much for sending this! I look forward to reading it. I love the cute bookmark!
I absolutely agree with RlyLv2Rd. I read the whole book through, but almost quit a few times. I just kept expecting it to get better since I'd heard so much hype about it, and it didn't. Hopefully the next reader has better luck!
