The Coffee House is near the bottom of the cobbled street in Haworth. It has a cheerful yellow door and a little fountain in the front of it. You'll find the best cup of coffee served in Haworth here as well as the most delicious home-made cakes. Clare is the name of the woman that owns the Coffee House and she is as delightful and as sweet as her confections. She has a fairy kind of quality about her. I left the book on the window sill next to a selection of other books that live in the Coffee House.

This book has traveled with my daughter to Skye for the local Feis. Looking for a temporary "home" in Scotland before resuming its journey round the world...happy reading. (although it is a sad story based on fact.)
