"The national bestseller of a very nice housewife with a very dirty mind..."
This book was purchased to help support efforts to keep the Shamokin/Coal Township Public Library open. It is a used paperback in fair condition, with 290 pages. The binding is slightly loose, and the pages are beginning to yellow, but this book has plenty of reads left.
I haven't decided what I want to do with this book, yet. Look for another entry, soon.

Thank you so much rivet!
"Wifey" was really amusing to read. Wifey, Sandy is a frustrated housewife who is literally sick of her husband. We learn about her past, her family and how her life turned out the way it has. She gets into a lot of slapstick-like situation and the general tome of the book can be described as satirical. After the first few chapters and especially after the descriptions of her husband I really had to remind herself when this book was written. I had already read "Forever" and "Wifey" was in some ways similar to "Forever" in terms of it's for the time of publication taboo breakings. And like "forever" some scenes were a bit to graphical than necessary- at least for me. I have also read "Summer Sisters" a more recent novel. I probably prefer "Wifey" to the other novels because of its humour although I did not like its that much.
