Drowning Ruth (Oprah's Book Club)

I don't often give 10 as a rating but this book deserved it.
'Drowning Ruth' is a story of four womens lives and how entwined they had become. A mystery death hangs over Carl and he is like a dog with a bone - can't settle, can't move on until he knows what really happens.
The story is told from several points of view which makes it more interesting because you don't just know what one character is feeling, but what the other one is as well.
Highly recommend a read of it.

I've promised this to Brendalc57 once I've read it.
This book had definite "can't put it down" moments - the mystery was revealed just enough at a time to always keep you turning pages, greatly aided by the shifting viewpoints. I found the switching back and forth between third person and first person a bit distracting at first, but once I got used to it, it actually added a whole extra dimension to the story.
Thanks, WhiteRabbit, well worth reading!
