True History of the Kelly Gang

Peter Carey is one of my favorite authors. The Kelly Gang was real, and Carey based this novel on available factual information regarding the gang's true life adventures. He filled in the details with his imagination. Great book. Winner of the Booker Prize.
This is one of a pile of books scheduled for release into the wild, but a friend came along and well... I gave it to the friend. Sigh. Hopefully that person will release it into the wild at some point in the future.
