One of a series of mysteries featuring Detective Alan Banks of the Yorkshire CID. This is a superb novel....It rises above the level of even the better detective stories by virtue of excellent plotting, insightful characterization and believable situations. I'm only releasing it because I got it as a gift and already have a copy.
