Il "Codice" ha, nella prima e nell'ultima parte, un buon ritmo narrativo e una buona tensione. La ricerca del Graal e la sua originale interpretazione sono funzionali al thriller, nello stile di Crichton. In mezzo parecchia noia e personaggi appena abbozzati.
