This is the third copy of this book to come into my home!! One copy sits, unread as yet, in my private collection among the other Nick Hornby books; one was promised it to another BCer who never forwarded her address, and now I don't know where it is; and this one is up for a RABCK/wild release/whatever! In fact, I'll probably be taking it to the Birmingham meetup next month to find it a new home.

Started this yesterday & finished the last few pages this morning. Really enjoyed it, but did keep imagining Hugh Grant as Will, especially the bit on Christmas Day when he's not sure whther to stay or go & dithers for a few minutes. Not actually seen the film, but will rent it if it's as good as the book.

My first Nick Hornby book, I also have Fever Pitch in Mt TBR.

This was read as am atempting to read all my BC books in MT TBR before the Unconvention.

Took to Sheffield meet, but everyone had all ready read it! Brought back home again & now available.

Posting to MoJeDenUK for her sweepstake prize. This book is wonderful & isn't listed on her BC shelf.

Cheers for the book! It's now the 50th book (and please God the last!!!) received in my Sweepstake win!!! I did actually see the film and enjoyed it and as books are usually far superior to the film adaptations I expect to enjoy the book even more.

Thanks Tiggsybabes for sending this to me.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a wonderful, light, funny read and better than the film but only because in the book you get to read their thoughts which cannot really be transmitted to the screen. Hugh Grant was cast well for the part of Will. I couldn't imagine him being played by any other actor. Great book!

I shall release it in Melton very shortly!
