A book my son read in school. As I am interested in new books for the young, I also read it. Somehow I think the general idea was better than the actual execution, for my taste there's quite a lot slapstick in it. I think it's not completely untrue that homophobics sometimes just try to hide their own suppressed homosexuality, so that's probably what the strange teacher-episode is trying to communicate, but it somehow leaves me uncomfortable with making fun of the teacher.
