It’s the day before her daughter’s wedding and things are not going well for Gail Baines. First thing, she loses her job – or quits, depending who you ask. An unexpected RABCK and an anticipated joy to read a new Tyler novel. Thankyou :)
Anne Tyler never disappoints. Small town stories with flawed likeable characters. This one less plot driven but an enjoyable novel that can be savoured in a single sitting.
