Well that was something new. Recently I was listening to Christian Thee's podcast and Romy was there... she was talking about this project and also read a few examples of the poems.
Now, I've read the book and listened to the attached CD and I liked it.
I'm still not sure if I like Romy's voice reciting the poems or rather not. Anyway, it is unique. I really like this project as a whole. And I liked the CD, mostly. It's a bit close to techno, but I do like the beat. I didn't know Fortuna Ehrenfeld before - I listened to some more, and I do like it. :)
My favorite poem of the collection is "Feathers".

A smooth and comfy read ❤ ... I feel like I missed some of the intertextuality but I still liked it.

Im Prinzip geht es darum, dass Romy, die eigentlich eine Krimi- und Thrillerautorin ist, auf einem Flohmarkt eine alte Schreibmaschine Typ "Princess Standard" findet und sich dadurch inspiriert fühlt, ungefilterte, ungeschönte Gedichte über ihre eigenen Gefühle zu schreiben (da man anders als bei einem Computer-Schreibprogramm an der Schreibmaschine nichts mehr rückgängig machen kann)
... die Gedichte sind auf Englisch, teils noch mit einer französischen Version... Es geht teils um Liebe und Sexualität, aber quasi von Berufs wegen ist sie immer auch wieder an der Endlichkeit interessiert, sodass immer wieder Referenzen auf tragische Tode wie z.B. von Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath oder Marilyn Monroe vorkommen. Viele Gedichte lesen sich eher wie Fragmente von Songs - als die sie sie auch vertont hat ☺
