On to Mt TBR it goes.

Through five interconnected stories, the author explores the need for human connection, friendship and community. This short novel is a beautifully written ode to the role of libraries, librarians and the transformative power of books.

I do not normally like short stories, but this book was quite enjoyable. Each of the short stories are about different people but the key link in all the stories is the local community centre and the library. Each of the people on the stories are a bit lost, and not sure how to move forward with their lives, until they meet the librarian Sayuri Komachi, who recommends books to these people that have an impact them and give them the courage to move forward with their lives. A unexpected, delightful read.
