This has been on the top of my TBR - so seeing this book in the little library was such a great surprise.
“Rotating about the Earth in their spacecraft they are so together, and so alone, that even their thoughts, their internal mythologies, at times convene”…and from this opening sentence unravels a gloriously brief meditation on humanity, connection and our place in the universe. At once this novella is both claustrophobic and endless, humming with the beauty of what humankind can do but critical of our often disastrous egotism. I’m sure this will stay with me for some time.
