Two chapters in and seems fine so far.

Whilst at times early on this feels a bit trite and the explanatory elements delivered in the form of characters addressing themselves ring false it improves greatly towards the end. It should also of course be noted that it was written whilst such events as take place in it were ongoing in the real world with the author's own future more uncertain with each passing day.
