2009 Hyperion trade paperback of the 2008 Book 6 in the fantasy series. In this one, our young genius hero must find a magical cure for his mother's sudden illness, available only in the brain fluid of a creature whom a younger, reckless Artemis drove to extinction by his money greed. I found this copy a couple weeks ago in the Silverwood Little Free Library.
I can let this go after I read:
2000 The Wish List [read 2021]
2001 Artemis Fowl [read 2011]
2002 The Arctic Incident [read 2012]
2006 Half Moon Investigations [read 2023]
Edit November 9, 2024: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. It's for younger readers, and runs a bit long. I currently have this ranked at #6784 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
