2018 Grove Press trade paperback of the 1994 English translation by Ann Sherif of the 1990 Japanese tale of a collection of stories written in English which may never be published in Japan, as it causes its author and subsequent translators to commit suicide. I found this copy yesterday in the Hyacinth Little Free Library.

1988 Kitchen [read 2024]
Edit November 4, 2024: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. I currently have this ranked at #1584 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
