I got this from the Book Thing of Baltimore, MD, years ago. I have enjoyed other books by this author, so I knew I wanted this to read.
Oh boy. I was not prepared for the racism and cruelty and all the emotions those brought up in the book and to me. I felt for Mr. Levine, the elderly Holocaust survivor and artist.
