I picked this up after reading The Silo Series (after picking up Wool at one of my early BookCrossing meetups) which turned out to be one the best series I have ever read. I thoroughly enjoyed this, although not nearly as much as the others.

On Goodreads I belong to a group called Genreland and each month there's a different prompt. It helps me choose a book or two from my massive TBR to reduce the size. But every now and then I don't have anything that fits (for example, January it was "snakes" for the Chinese Zodiac) not even by stretching it. April it is "artificial intelligence". I have a decent amount of sci-fi on the shelf, but those are more "space" (which is November's prompt) and the presence of AI in the plot is unknown. Which is all to say, I am excited to read this next month and pleased with the timing
