A Weekly Books Children's Book Club Book, first published in 1968, Saucy is a family dog who will be giving birth to a litter of puppies soon. Members of the family create places for Saucy to have her puppies, but she rejects them and disappears. Everyone is looking for Saucy, and she is eventually found. Illustrated by Unada.
