I picked up Maus 2 at the Durham unconvention, so ordered Maus 1 when I returned

I brought Maus 1 because I had picked up Maus 2 at the Durham Unconvention. It was a quick read. None of it was a surprise or shock to me as I have read a lot of books about WW2 and the Holocaust. The style was very readable. The end was difficult and rather pushes me to read the 2nd book. A very different style of writing which is powerful because it is accessible to people who do not read books.
