1976 Scholastic paperback about a big city girl stuck in a cabin in the woods with her parents for a year, who then meets an old withc-woman in a black house, and begins to change. I found this copy today in the Arizona Little Free Library.
Edit September 11, 2024: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. It's for younger readers and runs a bit short. I currently have this ranked at #2735 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
