It could have been a nice mystery thriller, if only the story or main character would have been built better.
There’s just no mystery and not enough thriller.
Jules is no less than stupid, and I do not mean it offensively, she really is. Whatever she decides to do from page 1 is a bad idea, you know it, people around her know it, she doesn’t.
The story is boring, quick and with no plot twists (or actually, some parts are supposed to be plot twists, but if you have ever read a single thriller in your life, you know way earlier what it is going to happen).
It is a book you read quickly, because it is poorly written and you just want to get over with it.
Every time something happened, I found myself thinking “yup, that’s what I thought 5 chapters ago”
I would recommend this book to young readers who are just starting to read thrillers.
