I got this softcover at a local Barnes and Noble, for another release copy. It's a children's book about the Paralympic Games, from their inception to modern times, showing how they've evolved and how the events are scored - including the ways the competitors' different impairments may be weighted to attempt a fair score. There are sections on a number of athletes, from wheelchair racers to an armless archer to blind swimmers and runners. The book covers the challenges faced by the athletes and also by those attempting to organize the Games and get them officially recognized. Informative and inspirational!
