I loved the TV series, so just had to check out the books. And I was kind of disappointed. Some of the characters have the same names and parts of the plot seemed a little familiar, but that’s where the similarities end. If you separate this from the show it’s not a bad read, and it packs a hell of a lot in considering it’s such a small book. It didn’t have me gripped as such, but there was enough intrigue to keep me going to the end and I will pick up the next in the series.
