I found this somewhat-battered paperback in this Little Free Library in Brookline NH while dropping off some books of my own. It's the screenplay of the 2007 film. The book includes a brief introduction by the author, pointing out some key ideas - and differences from the director's point of view - that might affect the way one reacts to the story.

I admit that I found the film a bit disappointing, though the concept had its points.
