2002 Mira paperback tale of the old West, in which our hero mercenary for hire is joining forces with a young woman he once knew, to seek vengeance against the murder attempt he barely survived. But their haunted pasts threaten to become a lethal cat and mouse game that can leave only one winner standing, as they are forced to trust each other for their very survival. I found this copy last week in the Vale Little Free Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1984 Passion Flower [read 2024]
1988 Diamond Spur [read 2024]
Edit August 3, 2024: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. I currently have this ranked at #3584 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
