I bought this from the St Gemma's Hospice charity shop in Wetherby yesterday, chosen because I enjoy a tale from Regency London.

It took me a while to get into this. I was stopping and starting it for days, before I picked it up and couldn't put it down . . . In the end, it proved a captivating story, one I thoroughly enjoyed, with lots of drama, danger, love and devotion.
