I brought this home from the red telephone box book exchange on St Hilda's Road in Harrogate this morning on my first visit for a while, finding it well-stocked and worth returning to.

I've recently celebrated my Golden Wedding Anniversary so on the face of it I don't have a lot in common with Lydia whose fiance was killed in a car crash on her 28th birthday with their wedding still in the planning stages - but I was so taken up with her story that I finished it the same day I started it! I don't know why but there was something about her account of learning to live through her grief that I related to!
