I got this hardcover at local independent bookstore Balin Books, for another release copy. It's a beautifully illustrated book about bird-watching, including illustrations where the reader is challenged to find specific birds in the images. There's a checklist up front showing each bird clearly, and the illustrations depict their various habitats and food sources - including mice trying to hide from a nearby hawk! There are little notes on the birds' behaviors, too, all presented in simple text. Really lovely book!

I left this book in this imposing Little Free Library; hope someone enjoys it!
