I got this softcover at a local thrift store. Opening in the aftermath of WWII, it's about a woman who knows the truth behind a top-secret - and appalling - project that involved experiments on the prisoners in the Nazi concentration camps. She's on the hunt for personal vengeance, but finds herself dodging agents from both sides of the Cold War, who are interested in Project Bluebird themselves.

My father was a WWII veteran and I love reading historical novels about wartime experiences.
Love the book and will pass it on to other family members.
