This was a couldn’t put down book. Mitch Albom is quite a writer. I have read all his books and have not been disappointed, though, some have been better than others. While there are a number of Holocaust books, this one stands out partly because it is set in Greece. When I think holocaust Greece is never in the mix. From the title you assume that the book focuses on lying and it does. Truth plays a big part of the story. The author explores the types of lies people tell when their ethics are challenged in a battle for survival. It Also looks at how it affects the individual. In this book Albom Challenges the reader to think deeper than the words on the page.
