I have had this around for a while now and as I'm doing a European Reading challenge this year I thought I'd better register & read this Irish book!

I think it came from either a Dollarama or Dollar Tree a couple of years ago. I often buy such things if I'm stuck somewhere waiting for my husband, but don't always get to read them before he arrives, lol.

This book was a quick read-- unsurprisingly since this particular edition is part of a series called Quick Reads! I understand that Star Sullivan has also been published as part of a compilation of stories featuring different people that live in the fictional Dublin neighbourhood where it's set.

Anyway, it's quite sad in a lot of ways. I think it makes important points about doing the right thing even when it's not the easy thing and other similar issues, but it is a bit of a sad read.

I was looking for a good place to leave this book this evening, and since the story is set on Chestnut Street, I decided to see if there was any good place on Kitchener's Chestnut Street! I was happy to find a Little Free Library, and when I opened it I was excited to see other Maeve Binchy books inside. Hopefully that means that someone frequenting the library is a fan! Anyway, I left this one with the others.
