Maeve Binchey's books are always an easy and enjoyable read. She has a way of making you feel like you live in the Irish towns and villages in which she sets most of her novels. This novel is no different. It's basically a set of intertwining stories, woven together by a weekly trip home on the lilac bus. Plus, as a bonus, there are an additional 4 short stories at the end of the book.

Released on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Uncommon Grounds on South Park in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada.

I plan to release this at the Official Crossing Zone at around 4:30 to 5pm this afternoon.

Luckily, when I went for a coffee this morning the book was still there. I just started reading Binchy books and really enjoy them, especially 'Scarlet Feather'.
Look forward to relaxing with this book -
Thanks MelanieMac

Funny, I usually love her books.

This one was way too unfinished. I really wanted to read about the dinner party. And the second half of the book was a collection of short stories, unrelated to the first half of the book. The stories were good but i guess i was too preoccupied with the earlier story. The writing is still great and characters engaging, i just wanted to have some of the bigger events to happen.

Released on Sunday, June 06, 2004 at Uncommon Grounds coffeeshop (BookCrossing meeting) in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada.

Am bringing to the June Bookcrossing meetup.
