With the born storyteller's command of narrative and imaginative approach, Leonard Mlodinow vividly demonstrates how our lives are profoundly informed by chance and randomness and how everything from wine ratings and corporate success to school grades and political polls are less reliable than we believe.
This book will be traveling to Burlington to a fellow BookCrosser.

A wonderful gift from KarenBC! A friend recomended a simular book a while ago, thank you.
I quiet enjoyed this book, the science was presented in a way that was both light and interesting. Plenty of odd ball facts, and stories.
I in particularly enjoyed the connections between odd ball historical facts that relate to mathimatical ideas of randomness and probability.
The book explores Zeno's Parodox, Why or if a random sequence can happen. Problems with false negative and false positive medical tests such as breast cancer screens and HIV tests.
