Sense and Sensibility tells the story of the Dashwood sisters as they come of age. Despite being just 19 and 16 years old, Elinor and Marianne seek a true love connection in a world constrained by unhealthy notions of class, conduct, and morality.

Elinor and Marianne are two different people who interact with the world in very unique ways. While Elinor has more discernment, both characters deal with similar trials and tribulations. From social norms and shallow exchanges to inadequate male suitors, the sisters are united in their experiences while always walking their own paths.
